John Neal Shull Jr., 48, of Pendleton, passed away on July 26, 2012, in Pendleton. He was born on September 25, 1963, in Greenfield to John and Linda Shull, and was raised in Mohawk, resided in Pendleton most of his adult life.

Neal attended Mt. Vernon High School. He was Self Employed Painter for N S Painting & Pendleton Auto Restoration. He was a member of Pendleton Kiwanis, Falls Park Car Show, and Pendleton Christian Church. He loved to Flip a "K" Burger, also loved to restore classic cars, whether it was his or someone else's. He loved his other woman, his 52 Chevy (formerly the gray ghost). Neal was a very selfless person, always was there to lend a helping hand. He devoted his love daily to his wife and children. He was an artist of his craft of painting. He was very quick witted, loved teasing, and had endless hugs, and endless love for his family and friends. Neal never met a stranger. He died trying to help a stranger.

Neal is survived by his loving spouse whom he married March 12, 2005, Noelle (Collings) Shull of Pendleton; son, John E. Shull; daughters, Nicole M. Shull; Heather A. Shull all three of Pendleton; step-son, Jacob R. (special friend Lacey) Reed of Pendleton; stepdaughters, Shay N. (Richard) Montalvo of Texas; Loving Kitty, Willow Mae Shull of Pendleton; mother, Linda L. Shull of Mohawk, Ind.; brother, Jeff A. (Cathy) Shull of Clermont; sisters, Debbie C. Best of Morristown, Kristi E. (Allen) Wright of Pendleton; grandsons, Jaxon LeBlanc of Texas, Richard Montalvo Jr. of Texas; granddaughter, McKynleigh M. Montalvo of Texas; grandmother, Leola Murphy of Pendleton; in-laws, John E. He was preceded in death by father, John N. Shull; sister, Donna Shull, Beverly Shull; grandfathers, Ervin R. Murphy, Forest Shull; grandmothers, Evelyn Shull, Kathleen Johns, nephews, Michael Shull, Allan Shull; uncle, Ronald Scott, Lee Woodcock, Bernard Pine; great-uncle, Edward Hallowell; Brother from another mother, Stan Holt. Mentor, and Larry Barkdull. Beloved Dogs, Nip & Lucy Shull.

 Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at the Pendleton Christian Church with Pastor Jay Harvey officiating.

 The family encourages casual dress, and driving your classic cars to the funeral. Burial will take place in the Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Citizen's State Bank in the name of the Shull Family.
