Larnie "Lannie" E. Walker, 61, of Pendleton, passed away on July 23, 2012, at his residence, after an extended illness. He was born on October 16, 1950, in Anderson, and resided most of his life in Pendleton.

Lannie graduated from Markleville High School in 1968. He and his wife owned and operated The Transfer Connection. Lannie was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed playing poker with friends. He was also an avid golfer.

Lannie is survived by his loving spouse whom he married June 13, 1970, Betty (Hill) Walker, of Pendleton; daughters, Heather A. Walker (Shane Downham) of Anderson, Natalie L. Walker of Pendleton; sister, Judi (Bob) Fesler of Markleville, Alice (Lee) Mallette of Anderson, and Millie (Tom) Adams of Anderson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by father, Larnie E. Walker Sr.; mother, Mary E. Walker.

 Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson. Services was at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at the funeral home with Rev. Dan Helms officiating. Burial took place at Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.
