Lou Ann Fountain, 82, Perkinsville, died on Monday, July 9, 2012, at Community Hospital of Anderson following a brief illness. She was born on May 18, 1930, in Perkinsville, Indiana to William and Kathryn (Hacker) Murfin.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Walter Gene Fountain; one son, Michael Fountain of Perkinsville; one granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Mark Aleshire officiating. Burial will follow in K. of P. and I. O. O. F. Cemtery, Frankton.
