Edward Allen Cunningham, 66, of Greenfield, passed away on Tuesday, Feb 21, 2012, at his home in Greenfield. Born on Sept. 15, 1945, in Indianapolis, he was the son of William E. and Anna “Mildred” (Fitzpatrick) Cunningham.
He was self-employed as a trim carpenter for over 30 years. Mr. Cunningham was a lifetime member of the VFW in Greenfield. He loved music, especially playing the bass guitar. He also enjoyed fishing and Nascar.
Surviving him are his mother, Anna “Mildred” Cunningham of Greenfield; siblings, David (Chris) Cunningham of Greenfield, Becki (Duane) Cott of Indianapolis, and Debi (Rusty) Chandler of McCordsville; nieces and nephews, Brandi Harris, Joe Cunningham, Heather Rogers, Courtney Miessen, Jason Chandler, Kathy Wood, Bill Cunningham, and Sherrie Jackson; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his father; brothers, Bill and Glenn Cunningham; and great-nephew, Chad Jackson.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at the mortuary.
