William M. “Kinley” McMahan, 95, of Carthage, died Saturday, June 21, 2014. He was born June 16, 1919, in Olive Hill, Ky., a son of the late Charles and Marjorie (Bailey) McMahan.
He is survived by his wife, Judy K. (McIntosh) McMahan of Carthage; children, Walter (Kay) McMahan of Carthage, Will Clyde (Nancy) McMahan of Southport, Homer Earl (Diane) McMahan of Spartan, Tenn., Edward (Sarah) McMahan of Vanceburg, Ky.; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; stepchildren: Sherry Rucker (John) Foust of Bloomington, Lauralee Rucker of Denver, Colo.; Edward Earl (Lisa) Rucker, Jr. of Muncie; 12 step randchildren; one great- stepgrandchild; several nieces and nephews, and great- nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Odalin Logan McMahan; three sisters, Myrtle Lee, Annabelle Logan and Arkansas McMahan and brother, Homer McMahan.
Arrangements are pending at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel.
