Helen G. (Rambo) Shetterly, 93, died February 11, 2014 at the Rawlins House in Pendleton. She was born Sept. 15, 1920, in Lapel and was a Pendleton resident since 1978 and resided in Gross Pointe, Mich., for ten years.
Helen was a homemaker and member of Pendleton First United Methodist Church. She was a past member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel.
Survivors include sons, Doug Shetterly of Auburn, Elliott (Janine) Shetterly of Addison, Texas and Jeff (Elizabeth) Shetterly of Allen, Texas; daughter, Kelly (Dwayne) Worley of Pendleton; six grandchildren and two great -grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Shetterly; parents, George D. and Josephine (Passwater) Rambo; and siblings, George “Buck” Rambo, Betty Smith and Dorothy Rambo.
Visitation was from 4 until 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, and from 10 until 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at Lahm Chapel. Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton with Pat Vance officiating. Burial followed in Brookside Cemetery in Lapel.
