Lottie Emma (Rhoades) Beyers, 95, of Fairland, died on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013, at Morristown Manor. She was born on March 11, 1918, the daughter of Walter L. and Elsie M. (Russell) Rhoades.
She is survived by her sons, David (Linda) Beyers of Rochester, New York, and Bob (Connie) Beyers of Shelbyville; daughters, Judy (Roy) Ginn of Fairland, Marlene (Tom) Allen of Shelbyville, and Debbie (Dennis) Cory of Shelbyville; twenty grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Lottie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, who passed in 1964, Jesse; sisters, Gertrude McMullen, Beryl Hoop, Ruth Pike, and Hester Prevo; and one grandchild, Eddie Bennett.
Visitation will be on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, from 3 until 7 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at Fairview Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Pastor Johnny Lee Sanders will be officiating. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery in New Palestine.
