Jack W. Gustin
Jack W. Gustin, 85, passed away Dec. 20, 2013, at the Rawlins House in Pendleton. He was born Nov. 11, 1928, in Anderson, to the late Elbert and Estella (Grant) Gustin.
He retired from Guide Lamp Division of GM in Anderson. Jack was a 1946 graduate of Pendleton High School, where he served as yearbook editor; 50 years plus member of Madison Masonic Lodge #44 F.& A.M., Pendleton; member of Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis; Murat Shrine Temple, Indianapolis; Madison County Shrine Club; Civil War Roundtable; Madison County Historical Society; and member and past president of Central Indiana Old Car Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Gustin Simpson and Nora Gustin (Jerry) Wilson all of Pendleton; brother, Bruce Manuel of San Jose, Calif.; and three grandsons, Darin (Tracey) Simpson, Quentin Simpson and Myles Simpson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vianna (Wilson) Gustin; and sister, Jeanne Michael.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the Rawlins House staff for their compassionate care.
A time of sharing and remembrance was held at 6 p.m., Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton and visitation was from 3 until 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Madison County Shrine Club, 2419 White St., Anderson, IN 46012.
