Dorothy C. Willoughby
Dorothy C. Willoughby, 97, of Anderson, passed away on Aug. 31, 2013, at her residence. She was born on June 30, 1916, in Johnson County, and resided here since 1934.
Dorothy was a homemaker. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Ralph (Shirley) Willoughby of Pendleton and Ross (Mary Ann) Willoughby of Cottonwood, Ariz.; grandchildren, David (Shelley) Willoughby of Ft. Wayne, Christina (Tom) Hockema of Pendleton, Scott Willoughby of Ariz., Tami (Jim) Elmer of Texas, and Krysta (Phil) Gornick of Cottonwood, Ariz; great-grandchildren, Matthew Hockema, Amy Hockema, Alyssa Ragsdale, and Brannon Elmer; great great-grandchildren, Michelle Hockema, Taylen Hockema and Kayden Ragsdale; sister, Geraldine (Kenneth) Smith of Bloomington; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Dovie Browning; husband, William Earl Willoughby; 10 brothers and sisters; and granddaughter, Kathleen Willoughby.
Visitation was from 4 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St., Anderson. Services were at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 5, 2013, at the funeral home with Brother Bill Houser officiating. Burial took place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
