Dennis James "Den" Muse

Dennis James “Den” Muse, 58, Perkinsville, died Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Community Hospital of Anderson following a sudden illness.

He was born on February 28, 1955, in Greenfield to James and Dorothy (Au) Muse.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Deb (Cogill) Muse; two children, Danny Muse of Anderson, and Stacy (Jerry) Barnes of Pendleton; his father, James Muse of Perkinsville; three sisters, Shirley King of Noblesville, Sheila (Rick) Blackford of Perkinsville, and Cindy (Rod) McDole of Lapel; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two brothers-in-law, Mike (Brenda) Cogill of Elwood, and Frank (Janet) Shetterly of Perkinsville.

He was preceded in death by his mother; and two brothers, Duane Muse and David Muse.

Visitation will be from 2 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Perkinsville Community Church with Rev. Mark Aleshire officiating. Burial will follow in Perkinsville Cemetery, Anderson.
