 Russell L. Scott, 81, passed away March 7, 2013, at his residence. He was born April 7, 1931, in Pendleton and was a lifelong resident.

Russell retired in 1992, from the Department of the Army Support Center- Fort Benjamin Harrison following over 30 years of service. He was a 1951 graduate of Pendleton High School.

Survivors include his twin sister, Ruth M. Siverling of Concord, Calif.; niece, Maxine Pitkin of Blythe, Calif.; nephew, Burt Siverling of Concord, Calif.; several great nieces and great nephews; and his cousin and special caregiver, Sharon Baker.

He was preceded in death by his parents,Ralph and Laura (Poor) Scott; brother-in-law, Jack Siverling; and niece, Bren Siverling.

A private graveside service and burial were held at Grove Lawn Cemetery in Pendleton with Pastor Claude Creel officiating.

Arrangements entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.
