Helma K. (Klein) Dent
 

Helma K. (Klein) Dent, 78, passed away at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville on Saturday, March 2, 2013. Born on Jan. 18, 1935, in Kaiserslautern, Germany, she was the daughter of Karl and Ottilie Klein.

She graduated from Gaute School in Kaiserslautern, Germany in 1951.  She married Maurice E. Dent on July 31, 1954 and had worked for Advanced Micro Devices and Del Monte. Helma attended Grandview Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time knitting, crocheting, and doing needlepoint.

Helma is survived by her husband, Maurice Dent of Pendleton; children, Maryann (Steve) Studley of Colorado Springs, Colo., Carl Dent of Pendleton, Doris (Marc) Rothwell of Calif., Sue (Drew) Reynolds of Noblesville; brothers, Karl and Peter; sister, Liese; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary in Fortville.
