Kirby Ray Davis, 57, of Holly Springs, N.C., passed away Feb. 22nd.
Kirby was a 1973 graduate of Greenfield-Central High School and a 1978 graduate of Butler University. After college, Kirby became a pharmacist with the Hooks drug store in Greenfield before advancing to pharmaceutical administrative positions with M-Plan and Athem.
In 2002, Kirby accepted a position with Duke University as the director of pharmaceutical contracting. Kirby's wife, Kelly is an executive with Glaxo-Smith Kline.
Kirby was a member of the Corvette Club of Raleigh, and an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts and Butler Bulldogs.
Kirby is survived by wife, Kelly; daughters, Kristin Davis (Sam) Scheib; Chelsea Davis, and Molly Davis; grandson, Micah David Scheib; parents, Keith and Dee Davis of Greenfield; and brother, Kevin Davis.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27th, at the Apex Funeral Home in Apex, N.C.
