Linda L. (Wiley) Morris, 67, passed away Jan. 3, 2013, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. She was born on June 2, 1945, in Greenfield and was a Pendleton resident most of her life.

Linda was a rural carrier for the United States Postal Service, Carmel Branch, 20 years, retiring in 2009.

Survivors include two children, Angie Morris of Umpqua, Ore., and Tony (Gina) Morris of Pendleton; four grandchildren, Carissa, Allison, Jacob and Emily Morris; three sisters, Judy Mullins of Fortville, Gloria Scott of Arkansas and Mickey McCune of Fortville; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chuck and Nellie Wiley; husband, Richard R. Morris; and brother, Fred Wiley.

Services were held 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton with Pastor Claude Creel officiating. Burial will follow in Mendon Cemetery, south of Pendleton.

Visitation was 2-6 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Lahm Chapel.
