Brett D. Vanalst, 62, of Maxwell, died Monday Oct. 29, 2012, in Greenfield. He was born on Sept. 24, 1950, in Indiana, the son of the late Charles Dean and Mary Joan (Mckinstary) Vanalst.
Surviving relatives include son, Brian (Anita) Vanalst of Indianapolis; daughter, Rebecca (Gary) Lamastus of Chapel Hill, Tenn.; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brother, Tom (Carol) Vanalst of Dunkirk; sisters, Cheryl Jones of Greenfield and Vickie (Richard) Coxs of Tifton, Ga., several nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Mark Vanalst.
Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Visitation will from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, and 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140.
