William Clarence Niece, 64, of Greenfield, died on Aug. 11, 2012.
Mr. Niece served in the U.S. Army and received a Purple Heart, Bronze Star and Air Medal for his service.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Zapf Niece of Greenfield; son, William Dennis Niece of Arcadia, Fla.; sister, Susan Sams of Arcadia, Fla.; grandchildren, Benjamine Niece of Cumberland, and Jacqualine Hampton of Liberty, Ky., and four great - grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Dennis and Minnie Niece; sisters, Mildred Lawrence and Evelyn Hatcher; and brother, David Niece.
