GREENFIELD — When Dan Devoy talks about the drunk-driving accident that killed his first wife and the effect it had on his life, he is open and honest, speaking with the matter-of-factness that comes only with time.

But when sharing the story with a group of convicted impaired drivers, Devoy is downright blunt.

He tells them it still hurts.

That he’d like to kill the person responsible.

Last week, Devoy served as the keynote speaker for the Hancock County Victim Impact Panel, a program that has seen thousands of offenders since its inception in Hancock County 10 years ago.
