GREENFIELD — Two car thieves helped themselves to new wheels early Monday after smashing the showroom window at Dellen Automotive.

Video surveillance of the theft shows two people, a male and a female, breaking into the business in the 2600 block of West Main Street around 4 a.m. after being dropped off by someone driving a light-colored Volkswagen Beetle. The pair smashed the showroom window on the building’s west side with a rock, police said.

The thieves stayed in the business for about three minutes before making off with two sets of keys from the car lot’s key board.

The pair stole a dark blue 2011 Chevrolet Camaro and a light blue 2011 four-door Chevrolet Cruze. Neither car had license plates.
