The New Palestine boys’ basketball program will host summer camps starting June 11 at Doe Creek Middle School for players in grades 1-7. Cost is $35. Please contact varsity head coach Adam Barton for more information at abarton@newpal.k12.in.us.

The Eastern Hancock girls’ basketball program will host a golf outing July 21 at Hawk’s Tail in Greenfield beginning at 8 a.m.

Registration is $60 per person or $240 per foursome. Proceeds support the Lady Royals Basketball Program.

Registrations are still being accepted for the 2012 Greenfield-Central Girls Basketball Camp, to be held May 29-June 1 at the G-C Fieldhouse for players in grades K-2 (8-9 a.m.), 3-5 (9:15-10:15 a.m.) and 6-8 (10:30-11:45 a.m.).

Cost is $30; campers receive a T-shirt and basketball.

PUBLIC TRACK MEETS

All-Comers track meets will be held June 13, June 27, July 11 and July 25 at Greenfield-Central beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Races of various distances and field events will be held for participants of all ages. Cost is $1 for unlimited events for children high school age and younger; $1 per event for adults; and $5 for all pole vault participants.

SOCCER SIGN-UPS

Greenfield area soccer club StrikersFC Academy will host call outs for the 2012 season June 5, 7, and 11 at 6 p.m. at Brandywine Park. Children ages 7-10 are eligible. Registration is required even if the child played previously.

USF Real will hold tryouts at Brandywine Park June 12 and June 13. Tryouts for U11-14 boys and girls will be held 6-7 p.m. both days; U15-18 boys and girls, 7:30-8:30 p.m. both days.
