This fall’s local soccer sectionals will be held at Shelbyville for the boys and at Mt. Vernon for the girls. MV will then host the boys regional, while Shelbyville will organize the girls regional.
The local 2A sectionals include G-C, Mt. Vernon, New Palestine and Shelbyville.
Greenfield-Central hosted the local boys soccer sectional last season, and the regional was at Mt. Vernon.
The girls sectional was at New Palestine and Shelbyville hosted the regional.
Greenfield-Central athletic director Kevin Horrigan said his school will host a 4A volleyball sectional this fall for the first time since 2002.
