GREENFIELD — Phil Moorhead’s last name might as well be changed to “Gourdhead.”
Wearing a bright green-painted gourd on top of his head, the Marion resident has received so many compliments about his fashion statement that he even made a smaller version for his rescued miniature poodle, Sweety.
They greeted visitors Friday at the Indiana Gourd Show. Phil’s wife Ruth was the only one in the family without a hat.
