Last October, we introduced you to a dozen extraordinary people who have confronted breast cancer. They were patients, grieving loved ones and health-care professionals who have devoted their careers to helping women beat the disease.
This fall, we will bring you more stories that we hope will inform and inspire. In another special section in October, we will expand our examination of cancer to include stories on people of any age facing or recovering from any kind of cancer.
The disease has touched nearly everyone. We’d like to tell the stories of men, women and children who are facing cancer; survivors and family members who have journeyed through the harrowing weeks of treatment with their ill loved ones; and doctors and nurses who are caring for people with the disease.
Are you a survivor? Do you know a doctor or nurse whose life’s work has made a difference? How has cancer impacted your life?
Let us know so we can help tell your story. Call Maribeth Vaughn of the Daily Reporter staff at (317) 477-3228, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
