The Eastern Hancock baseball team nabbed its first win of the season Wednesday night by edging Southwestern 8-7.
Cody Wallace smacked two home runs and drove in three runs. Cole Fout added a solo home run. Kyle Kramer chipped in with an RBI.
EH turned a 5-3 deficit into an 8-5 lead by scoring six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. For the game, the Royals pounded out seven hits, walked seven times and stole nine bases.
Fout also earned the win by going three innings and allowing two earned runs on three hits while striking out three and walking none.
The Royals (1-1) host Shenandoah Saturday.
