GREENFIELD — A half-mile stretch of Mt. Comfort Road has been blocked off temporarily as workers repair a gas main.
CR 600W was shut down shortly after noon between CRs 300N and 350N after a construction worker hit a gas main, which ruptured. No evacuations were needed, but the road was closed down as a precaution.
The road is expected to reopen by around 12:30 p.m.
