GREENFIELD — A controversial meeting of Hancock County elected officials originally intended to be closed to the public now will be open to the public, instead.
Hancock County attorney Ray Richardson sent a public notice late Thursday afternoon about the Aug. 23 joint meeting of the Hancock County Council and Hancock County Commissioners.
The notice, signed by council President Bill Bolander, comes on the heels of political debate in recent weeks over whether the joint session should be open or closed.
