GREENFIELD — Worries over low attendance and participation in this year’s Summer Reading Club were laid to rest Thursday at the Hancock County Public Library’s end-of-summer carnival.
Hundreds of children lined up in and out of the main branch for face painting, crafts and endless carnival-style games, all orchestrated for Summer Reading Club participants to celebrate their summer reading success.
