The boys tennis sectional tournament has been moved up a day due to possible inclement weather Thursday.
The semifinals, scheduled for Thursday, have been bumped up to today at Mt. Vernon. Weather-permitting, the championship round will be Thursday.
Friday will serve as a make-up date in the event of a postponement.

North Decatur 3, Eastern Hancock 2
ND beat the Royals (7-15, 2-4 MHC) 15-25, 22-25, 25-18, 25-21, 15-10 in a Mid-Hoosier Conference tilt Monday.
Melissa Bedell had 22 kills and 12 digs. Lauren Harmon had 10 kills, eight digs and six aces. Katelyn Bowman and Eva Stephenson had 17 assists.
Franklin Central 3, New Palestine 0
The Dragons dropped a three-set match at Franklin Central, falling 25-22, 25-17, 25-16.
Jamie Morris had 25 digs to lead New Palestine (14-11) defensively.
Katlyn Keele had eight kills and 19 digs.
“We just did not show up tonight,” NP coach Kelli Whitaker said. “We have the skills and talent to beat FC. It’s disappointing that we did not play to our potential.”
Hamilton Southeastern 11, Greenfield-Central 0
Emily Coudret had a hat trick for 2A No. 4 HSE.
The Cougars fell to 6-10.
G-C boys second at Delta
Zach Bishop’s fourth-place finish paced the Cougars to a runner-up finish at the Delta Eagle Invitational.
As reported Tuesday, Mt. Vernon won the meet.
Syrus Fletcher (eighth), Tyler Morris (10th), Taylor Wright (19th) and Donovan Hankins (23rd) rounded out the G-C scoring.
“The gently rolling to flat course and weather conditions were favorable for potential fast times, but this was the Cougars’ third competition in one week, and they were running on dead legs,” G-C coach Hunter White said.
Delta 5, Mt. Vernon 0
MV was blanked by the eighth-ranked Eagles Monday.
