The Greenfield-Central boys basketball team topped Cambridge City Lincoln 55-46 Saturday, giving the Cougars a three-game winning streak for the first time in just over six years.
From Jan. 27 to Feb. 16, 2007, G-C won four games in a row, the last of which was a 76-64 victory over Cambridge City.
Saturday, the Cougars trailed 22-21 at half before outscoring the Golden Eagles 34-24 in the final two stanzas.
Derek Conley paced the blue and gold with 18 points, his fourth consecutive game in double figures.
Zach Batton added a season-high 12 points for G-C (5-14). Grant Wolfe, Tyler Batton, Cole Oleksy and Tate Hall had six points apiece.
In the JV game, the Cougars (8-11) won 60-35. Geordan Stump had 19 points.
Greenfield-Central closes regular-season play today vs. Connersville (10-11).
