Bid for engineering inspection lower than expected; project total estimated at $10.75 million

GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Board of Works and Public Safety approved an $867,000 contract Tuesday with an engineering inspection firm that will oversee work starting this summer on the long-awaited Potts Ditch project.

Indianapolis-based American StructurePoint will review contractor materials and also have inspectors in the field at all times while the underground tunnel is being rerouted through downtown Greenfield to alleviate flooding issues downtown.
