Prom dress giveaway March 1

NEW PALESTINE — From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 2, Studio 52 will hold a prom dress giveaway at Brookville Road Community Church, 7480 W. U.S. 52.

Donations of gently used dresses will be accepted before March 1 at Studio 52, 7924 W U.S. 52; or call (317) 861-4628 to arrange pick-up.

Eyeglasses will be collected at play

GREENFIELD — Ricks-Weil Theatre Co. is teaming up with the Greenfield Lions Club to take donations of new and gently used eyeglasses and reading glasses at each of its five performances of “The Miracle Worker” in March.

Performances are 7:30 p.m. March 1, 2, 8 and 9 and 2:30 p.m. March 10. Call (317) 410-6319 for tickets and general information.

Elks euchre tourney today

GREENFIELD — Greenfield Elks Lodge is having a euchre tourney to benefit Elks charities today.

The lodge will open at 6 p.m. and the tourney will begin at 7 p.m., with food available from 6 to 7 p.m. The lodge is located at 820 S. State St.

The tourney is open to the public.


GREENFIELD — Starting March 1, weather permitting, employees of Park Cemetery will remove and discard all decorations on all grave sites. If anyone wishes to keep an arrangement and/or personal items that are on the graves, they must be removed before the specified date.

This does not refer to items on the monuments themselves.

Families are responsible for cleaning up Christmas items or items that are not Christmas decorations that are in bad condition on the monuments and vases.
