MT. COMFORT — Several local groups are coming together for a new fundraiser that joins aviation with county history.

The inaugural Fly-In will be held 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Comfort’s Indianapolis Regional Airport. The event, open to both pilots flying in and enthusiasts traveling by car, is a joint effort among the Indianapolis Airport Authority; the airport’s operator, Indy Jet;  the local chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association; and the Hancock County Historical Society.
