NEW PALESTINE — New Palestine’s fireworks show Saturday has been canceled because of the dry weather, New Palestine Chamber of Commerce President Gary Halliburton said Thursday.
The decision to cancel came on the heels of the Greenfield Fire Department’s announcement that Greenfield’s July 4 fireworks would be postponed to Labor Day weekend.
Halliburton said there’s been some discussion about rescheduling New Palestine’s show, but no date has been set.
