Weather or not: Greenfield-Central High School held its homecoming parade Friday. Spectators were treated to colorful floats and costumed participants despite steady rain. Parade watchers who gathered along Broadway Street took cover under parkas and umbrellas to catch a glimpse of the floats and hope for some candy to get tossed their way. Homecoming kings and queens for G-C, Mt. Vernon and Eastern Hancock will be crowned today (Saturday) during football games rescheduled because of Friday night’s storms. See Tuesday's Daily Reporter for details of all four county football games (New Palestine will also play Saturday).
