GREENFIELD — Richalle Turner closed her eyes for a moment, gold scissors in hand.
The ribbon cutting for the grand opening of the Mike B. Center Tuesday afternoon was the culmination of months of hard work and a year of both heartache and healing.
The opening of the center for youths and young adults struggling with drug addiction fell on the anniversary of the death of Turner’s 21-year-old son, Michael Barton, who died from a drug overdose last year.
