GREENFIELD — With fierce criticism on the rollout of the Affordable Care Act, a federal government shutdown and continued debate on the debt ceiling and budget cuts, Congressman Luke Messer’s first year in office has been a whirlwind.

Staff at the Daily Reporter recently sat down for a one-on-one interview with the Republican from Shelbyville, who represents Hancock County as part of Indiana’s sixth congressional district.
