GREENFIELD — Saturday hours for pet adoptions will return to Greenfield-Hancock Animal Management once a month.
Starting July 7, the city-county shelter will be open 9 a.m. to noon the first Saturday of every month. As a way to kick off the new program, at least one pet available for adoption will be at this Saturday’s new “Talk to the Mayor” event at Greenfield City Hall.
Mayor Dick Pasco had made Saturday hours for pet adoptions a part of his campaign platform last fall.
