GREENFIELD — It’s been three weeks since Mayor Dick Pasco had surgery, and while he remains out of office, local officials say Greenfield city government continues to run fairly smoothly.

Pasco, who had surgery June 19, hopes to be back to the office soon to help plan for his first budget as mayor.

Pasco had wanted to come back to work one week after surgery, but he remained hospitalized an additional week following complications.
