INDIANAPOLIS — Erica Moore came out Friday night like she hadn’t missed a beat in over a month.

Mt. Vernon’s 6-foot, Division I-bound junior power forward made the most of the roughly 14 minutes she was on the Bishop Chatard court in her second outing after missing seven games with a knee injury.

Moore stunned a star-struck Guerin Catholic outfit with her fifth double-double of the season — 14 points and 10 rebounds — as the sixth-ranked Marauders ripped the Golden Eagles 76-36 to advance to the Class 3A Sectional 26 final.

The Marauders will meet the sectional-host Trojans (16-7) tonight at 7 p.m., in search of a third straight sectional crown and 14th overall.

There was no stopping Moore during a 25-6 first quarter for MV (18-4). She bruised past, and right over, Eagle defenders for 12 points in the period.

The Marauders jumped ahead 17-0, with Moore scoring six during that run. She put home three unanswered hoops to end the quarter.
