Dustin Glant could be facing his final at-bat as the Mt. Vernon baseball head coach, according to one school board member.
At the MV board meeting Monday, Dustin Glant’s coaching contract was renewed for a second year, albeit with some trepidation by the board.
“We have received numerous information from parents, fans and the school both pro and con,” school board member Bob Hiday said. “We know this is a controversial issue.
“I’ve spoken with people. It’s divided down the middle. As far as I’m concerned, he’s on a short leash for next year. He knows he is.”
