MT. COMFORT — Jean Edwards has a bad habit of staying up too late. With no one around to tell her it’s time for bed, sometimes the 86-year-old Greenfield resident stays up all hours absorbed in her latest quilt.
“I just can’t put it down,” she laughed Thursday, looking up at the fruits of her labor on display at the Common Threads Quilt Guild show.
Edwards has several quilts – including a collection from six generations of her family – in the biannual show, which runs today and Saturday at Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church.
