GREENFIELD — A longtime dispatcher has resigned after officials called into question her handling of a 911 call that ended in the death of an Indianapolis man.

Pam Towle, who had dispatched for 13 years, was recently recommended for termination for what officials say was a failure to relay critical information to emergency responders about the location of a man who was trapped underwater.
