GREENFIELD — Grace Silcox learned a lot in the course of completing her 4-H projects this year.

She learned how to tell the difference between male and female stag; that nail polish remover works better to kill insects than rubbing alcohol; and that you should always make sure the bugs are really dead before you start pinning them into place.
