GREENFIELD — Keihin Indiana Manufacturing in Greenfield received special recognition from Honda of America Manufacturing Thursday for the plant’s efforts in supplying the carmaker’s direct port injection system for its 2013 model year.
Honda presented KIM with its “Challenging Spirit” award after Keihin met its production schedule for the component despite a short time frame, steep learning curve and supply-side challenges, officials said.
