HANCOCK COUNTY - No one was injured when a helicopter made a rough landing and ended up on its side in a Hancock County field Saturday morning.

Helicopter pilot Tim Payne and his passenger, his 8-year-old daughter Stella, were not hurt when the helicopter went down shortly after departing  Indianapolis Regional Airport in Mt. Comfort shortly after 10 a.m. It landed in a field just northeast of the intersection of CR 500N and CR 600W.
At the scene on Saturday, representatives from the Federal Aviation Administration were on hand documenting the incident and more information will be released when their study is concluded.
