McCORDSVILLE — Lucille Hardy smiled brightly at the 20 or so people gathered at McCordsville’s Pleasant View Lodge Thursday afternoon.
Surrounded by friends and family, Hardy had donned her best dress – navy with bright pink accents that matched the silver tiara and hot pink feather boa she graciously accepted on her birthday.
She played along while everyone watched expectantly for her to blow out the three large, numbered candles on the birthday cake: 1 – 0 – 8.
