GREENFIELD — The Greenfield-Central School Board will welcome two new members come January, but both are familiar names in the community.
Kathy Dowling, 58, a retired educator who spent more than 30 years working in the corporation, will represent District 4 voters. Dowling handily defeated local lawyer David Murphy for the position, taking 71 percent of the vote. Murphy finished with 2,519 votes compared with Dowling’s 6,241 votes.
Also joining the board next year is Ray Kerkhof, who narrowly snagged the at-large seat with 3,283 votes.
