GREENFIELD — Greenfield-Central High School senior Allie Dickmann took top honors Sunday night at the 2012 Riley Festival Queen Pageant.

Dickmann, 17, was one of 14 contestants vying for the crown in Sunday's pageant. Hallie Wright, 17, an Eastern Hancock High School student, was named first runner-up.

Dickmann, captain of the G-C Varsity Cheerleading Squad and a member of National Honor Society, participated in the pageant last year and decided to do it a second time after being named to the court in 2011.

"It puts a lot of pressure on you," Dickmann said of being a second-time contestant. "You have higher expectations."

Dickmann will reign over the Riley Festival Oct. 4-7 in downtown Greenfield.
