They swam. They munched on treats. At least one of them ducked into its shell. All told, the dozens of pets (not to mention their masters) who attended two events Saturday at Riley Park found more entertainment than if they had curled up with their favorite chew toy or a bag full of catnip. Greenfield/Hancock County Animal Management, which runs the county shelter, sponsored Dog Days of Summer, a festival that featured rescue groups and vendors who offered a variety of services and products for pets. Nearby, the activity was a real splash for canines who took a dip during the annual P.A.W.S. Pool Party at Riley Park Pool.
