Some thoughts on the NBA, starting with the Pacers:
>>It’s easy to overreact to what the Pacers did against Miami, especially given the bipolar tenor of the second-round series. In the span of four days, the national media flip-flopped from the Heat, to the Pacers, and then back to the Heat. The truth is, the series was over after the Pacers lost Game 4 at home. The combined score of the two games after that: Heat 220, Pacers 176. By almost any measure, the Pacers outperformed expectations this year, but they’re still a piece or two away from being able to threaten Miami.
