GREENFIELD — Though he’s working 1,500 miles from his office, Hancock County Prosecutor Michael Griffin continues to receive regular paychecks as though he were still sitting in his office across the street from the Hancock County Courthouse.
It’s a practice that, while it might raise eyebrows, is legal for elected officials called up to military duty, as Griffin was last month.
